Anískökur

Anise Cookies

 
Ingredients
 

200 g butter
100 g sugar
100 g brown sugar
1 egg
250 g flour
1 tsp potato flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp anise
grated rind of 1 orange
chocolate lentils



Preparation
 

Preheat the oven to 200 ° C.
 
In a large bowl, beat the egg, butter and white and brown sugar until fluffy.
 


Add flour, potato flour, baking powder, baking soda, anise and orange peel and knead to a smooth dough.
 


Shape the dough into little balls and place on a lined baking tray.
 


Bake in preheated oven at 200 ° C for about 8 minutes until the biscuits are golden brown.
 

Take the cookies out of the oven and directly press a chocolate lentil into the center of each of them.
 


Let the anise cookies cool.
